Migraine Headaches for 5 years
Headaches were occurring one or two times a week. Each time I would lose one or two days. I also was having to curtail activities often to avoid headaches. I had been on several medications. Propranolol had helped me to avoid full blown migraines, but I still had to be careful about my activities and low level migraines often made it difficult to function. Dr. Caleb has taught me techniques to improve my posture so that when I feel like a headache may be beginning I can stop it before it gets worse. I am able to function at a much higher overall level. Dr. Caleb knows what he’s doing and will tell you honestly if he can help you and how. He listens to you and considers the whole person, not just a problem.

Mid back, hip and knee pain
I was having no extracurricular activities because of pain. I was missing out on family outings and packing on more weight. I have visited other doctors repeatedly with only temporary results. No other doctor took x-rays in order to diagnose the problem. I feel 100 times better and joined a health club and am looking forward to spring and going on all sorts of adventures with my family. I would and already have highly recommended Dr. Caleb to my family, friends, and customers.

Neck Pain for 5-6 years getting worse over time
Affected how far I could turn my head while driving, especially to the left. I swim competitively – affected my strength, technique, and breathing. Affected my quality of sleep. I work in Physical Therapy and it affected the quality of my movements. I started with my PCP, sent to physical therapy, saw another chiropractor, tried strengthening and stretching, Advil and ice. Since beginning care my pain is decreased, my range of motion is improved, and I have a decreased need for medication. Dr. Caleb Runne is nice, pleasant, knowledgeable, focused on the whole body health, not just the cervical spine. Each treatment is geared to specific problems encountered at that particular visit – it isn’t the same routine every visit – he reassess each visit to maintain progress – not assembly line treatment.

Joint pain
I came to see Dr. Runne because I wanted to maintain good health and wellbeing. I had been seeing a chiropractor for several years to work on my feet (bunions). I do not have pain in my
feet, however I wanted to try and stop the progression of joint
deformity. Nine months ago I hyperextended my thumb on my
right hand. The damage done to the ligament affected the
grasping function of my thumb. I also had pain in my wrist. Lifting
any kind of weight was painful – opening a jar was difficult. I did
not seek medical attention but used ice packs to reduce swelling
and hoped it would get better quickly. Dr. Runne found the exact
point of my pain and used trigger point massage therapy to
promote better circulation and alleviate the discomfort. He also
encouraged me to use an ice water soak for five minutes two times a day. After several treatments I am pain free and have normal movement in my hand. Dr. Runne has also worked the muscles of my neck which are frequently tight. Dr. Runne continues to use trigger point massage to stretch the tendons in my feet for better flexibility. I would highly recommend Dr. Runne. He is the best Chiropractic physician I have ever met. I plan to continue treatment to ensure my wellbeing.

Pain and swelling in foot for 6 months
In September, 2012 I came to see Dr. Runne because of pain in my foot due to a torn tendon. I had experienced pain and swelling for 6 months. Walking became extremely painful and it affected everything I liked to do – such as walking, jogging, dancing, working out at the gym, and doing flip turns in the pool. I know that I did not want surgery to repair the tibial tendon tear and needed a more holistic approach. My ultimate goal was to be
able to tolerate wearing ski boots by November. I have been
going to a Chiropractor for the past 13 years now. I was given
spinal adjustments for lower back discomfort. The monthly
adjustments plus back strengthening exercises have kept me
pain free. Six months ago I tore a tendon in my left foot. I went
to see an orthopedic specialist who prescribed 1 month of
immobilization with a boot. The pain did subside but I felt that
another approach would be worth exploring. Dr. Runne listened
to my concerns and offered beneficial guidance. He developed
a plan to strengthen the tendons in my foot and alleviate the pain without medication. Dr. Runne’s expertise in his field is extensive. He is the best Chiropractor I have ever seen. After only 4 months I am able to walk pain free, experience no swelling in my ankle joint and can were my ski boots without enduring joint stress. I work 2 days each week for the National Ski Patrol and need to wear my ski boots for 8 hours at a time. Dr. Runne’s expertise in the area of trigger point massage has also resulted in renewed energy and overall wellbeing. Dr. Runne also recommended home exercises and remedies to alleviate inflammation and joint swelling as well as dietary changes and body mechanics. Dr. Runne is wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes his time to listen to the needs of his patients. Dr. Runne is interested in total body care. I am amazed and the way he can find the exact muscle/tendon that is inflamed. I plan to continue maintenance treatment to ensure continued wellbeing. My lower back discomfort has also been alleviated.
